Mitch Gettleman was back in Plainview so we all went out to dinner. We went to the old Yamato Japanese Restaurant in Plainview which is now called HAMA, as in "Hama Time". Mitch was in New York because he is a finalist in the Live Mansion on-line movie contest for Directors (mitch is the pit bull on the website). Last Tuesday night we watched the screening of the 5 finalists scenes in a small Tribeca Theater with Spike Lee. Mitch's is definitely the best. The winners are decided by on-line voting and will get to Direct a full length feature movie. So make sure to go on line and vote.
